Firewall hell -what to do?

I have Windows XP, my provider is Dslextreme. I have a Linksys wired router which has never prevented Limewire or any other sharing program from working. I even added the port # 36605 to Macafee allowing all incoming and outgoing information. My router is UpNc (or whatever its called) enabled. I can't figure out what is going on?

Are you sure your Linksys router is not at fault? If you installed a new LW it may be trying to listen thru a different port than previously.

I don't see a 'full' systems details list from anyone in this list, yet you want us to "guess" what your problem might be. How much help you get on this forum is up to you really.
