error message - no internet connection (i do) or there is a firewall blocking LW - ?
 

i have the latest version of basic limewire, but i cant download. i use windows vista. the error message says that i either do not have an internet connection(which i do) or there is a firewall blocking the program. In the lower left hand corner of the limewire skin the internet connection bars , only one is green, and there is a picture of a world with a brick wall infront of it. i have turned off all firewalls that didnt work and i also allowed this program to be able to get thru the firewall that has not worked either. i unistalled and reinstalled the program and nothing has changed. any suggestions.. im kind of at a loss.. i also am not that computer literate so that is why i am not quite able to put all the information that you are requesting... im not sure how to answer all those questions.... thanks

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if your problem still continues click on (system details) fill in and post back here
