cannot connect
I recently moved to Italy from the US. LW worked just fine there, but not here. I have a laptop and a desktop. The laptop connects just fine but the desktop does not. DT running windows xp. I've done the things that other threads suggest but no luck. I get an error message saying
"LW was unable to start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking LW's access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. please allow LW access to the internet and restart LW." I've allowed access and then even shut down the windows firewall, still nothing. Suggestions? I just uninstalled LW, installed Frost wire and the same message came up. In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if this doesnt work click on (system details) fill in and post back here

 Limewire links: (If LW 5 will not connect) (If LW 4 will not connect)(system details) (LW Clean Reinstallation Instructions) (setting up your firewall to accept LW) LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.
