I am having problems connecting. Limewire says i have a firewall up. I have turned off every firewall/program/antivirus on my computer and still wont connect. Can somebody help me out here.

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes --- if after all this your problem still remains click on (system details) fill in and post back here

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.

So I'm on a hp computer with windows vista, using zone alarm, and a verizon dsl connection. MY limewire will not connect, and I've tried everything I could think of. All of the firewalls are off, I've deleted and redownloaded. And I'm still stumped. help?

This has worked for a few Vista users: Uninstall LW (start -> all programs -> LW -> uninstall) & ZA. Now reinstall LW first. Finally, reinstall ZA. Installing LW before ZA seems to be the trick

Double check that the Windows firewall's off.

In LW file -> disconnect. Wait 10 minutes, then file -> connect.

Also check this link out as your ISP is on it (ISP's known to block P2p or specifically limewire)
