Connection Problem v4.18.6

Hi,

I have a connection with the latest LW version 4.18.6, but no previous threads really provides a solution.

An older version was installed on my Vista-PC and I have had no problems during months. Then I upgraded recently both LW and Java version (1.6.0_07) because I couldn't suddenly manage to even launch the LW application (probably a Java issue) but this problem has been resolved.

Additional info that may help :

- Firewall is deactivated for LW (even if there is no firewall at all, the connection is not possible)

- the test on www3.limewire:6343 was succesful - so I guess there is no router or firewall problem ?

- other P2P programs installed : eMule and uTorrent (no problems with these programs)

I have heard that sometimes this kind of problem may be resolved by deleting the gnutella.net file (C:/users/user name/limewire ) but I do not have any limewire folder under "user name") ?

Hi,
In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes ---- if you cant fix your problem you can always download an older version of LW from here (old versions of limewire)
