Verizon's pervasive single-ended Ad concept; implicating you'll get a team of technical experts behind every cellular call,- sorta like the politician who promises lower taxes?

weird demands for USERNAME/Password which then aren't accepted

Port designations... if they ain't broke, don't fix them!

I'm NOT on verizon, but when I got to this page, it kept requesting my user name and password, and I kept entering them, but they weren't accepted, so after four tries, I said, forget this, and clicked cancel, which it wouldn't accept so I had to click cancel twice more before that dialog box closed and just went away and I was finally allowed to read AND ADD to this page.

Welcome to cyber nonsense. I discovered a really useful anti-virus suite for Windows that may apply to many such problems. This is the ONLY real Trojan eliminator I've ever withessed (at least in XP.) OpenSource, freeware. This truly finds the pieces of Trojans that affix themselves to common cookies, like Hotmail. MSNBC, etc.

Another reason I historically liked macs. PCs were always the #1 choice of haters who wanted to mess with other people's computers for fun. Now that the code is merging, I don't know how much longer that will be true. My husband's best friend has a graphic design company and most of the computers are PCs, because the Adobe versions of Photoshop and Illustrator and 3D design programs for Windows are so much cheaper than the mac versions. He had to get tough about employees downloading emails and stuff on work computers because it was, like, new viruses, all the time. They weren't using the anti-virus software they had.

Most of what I want to watch is stuff like animation-- Naruto shippuden and the not that old CATSCRATCH cartoons on Nick that Viacom has never released on DVD. I go to TurboNICK, but the buffering takes FOREVER, and anything copyrighted is being taken of YOUTUBE. Why can't this stuff just be available for download at iTunes?:bangh:
