calycal42 is a great assister to others; your light through the dark tunnel
Default Tried it, but it didn't work...added in more details...

Thanks for the response so far. I followed what you said and I tried to attach two pictures (one of the router screen..one of the LW screen). In case the attachments do not work, I will write about the two screens in details.

The router(rule) screen: In the Firewall settings:
LimewirePort ForwardingCALVIN-PC
Service Details Service Name Limewire</B>Type Port Forwarding</B>

EntryProtocolGlobal Port(s)Local Port(s)1both634663462tcp12141214

LimeWire Screen: I set the two ports to these numbers:
Listening Port - 6346
Manual Port Forward - 6346

After I set the numbers to be 6346, I reset my computer and unplugged my wireless router. After a good minute, I plugged my router back in and turned my computer. LW started up automatically and still says it is blocked by a firewall.

You mentioned that all the numbers should be the same, so that is why I chose 6346, instead of 1214 (that is the number that was assigned to 'both' with the pre-existing tab (limewire) for the rule.

If I tried to create a rule, it gave me three boxes to inport numbers, instead of two. Would this be better for me to do, instead of using the pre-existing "limewire" rule for my router? ex:
Define the first rule:ProtocolGlobal PortStartGlobal PortEndBase HostPortDirectionPort Direction tcpudpbothInOutSrcDst

Hopefully this gives you a better picture and can help provide a solution. Thanks again for your continuous help...already you all have shown more knowledge than my ISP..
