I was seriously considering getting LWPro but I'm reconsidering it because of the huge issues I've been having with my connection. I've been on the forum all night trying this and that...i've reset my defaults, then re-disabled Firewalls and such. uninstalled & reinstalled LW and Java a few times. In the past week LW has been connected for maybe an hour.

It seems like it only connects when it wants to. I've never had any problems until about a month ago. Please someone help me figure this out before i end my realtionship with LW once and for all. (I'd hate to do that, I do prefer to other P2P networks!)

this version of LW (4.18) has caused alot of people problems with connecting etc. I wouldn't buy the pro version until such times as your problems are sorted.Have you tried these fixes:-

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if still no good click on (connection problems) and (Fixes for LW when LW isn't operating as it should) if after all of this it's still not connecting -- try your old version of LW that was working for 4 years without any problems. Otherwise forget LW and download PHEX (Here)

Note please enable your nortons firewall otherwise you will have more problems than LW connecting (viruses. trojans)
