Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() My Problems are Over ( ![]() ![]() ![]() There is a list of things there to try so I did as many as I could BUT i have a sneaky suspicion that because I HAD Made My Default "Download and Save to" "MediaMonkey" and I was also useing MM for "My Player" to preview Thatwas causing the Problem I have gone Back to LW to Save LW as Player AND selected "Show save as"?? I also Selected Don't Show Tips at startup (Popups) and DID File Dissconnect the File Reconnect?? so I hope you will get something from this all thanks to you Birdy ![]() ![]() |

![]() austinma62, Double check that your Vista firewall's still allowing LW. After you deleted the preferences folder & restarted LW, did you go through the setup wizard all over again? Did you make sure that LW was properly closed before replacing the gnutella.net file? Did you have any trouble with any of the fixes? What is the model of your 2wire router? In LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall... do you have UPnP selected, or manual port forward, or is 'do nothing' ticked? --------------------------------------------------------------------- ladyshadowmoon, Did you go through all the fixes in this thread: If LW Will Not Connect Did you have trouble with any of them?
