Limewire 5 doesn't load...limewire website doesn't either!?! PLEASE HELP!

My limewire used to work fine...all of a sudden when I open it, it doesn't load the library and freezes. I can't close it either, I can only minimize it. Nothing can be clicked on except minimize. So i uninstalled it and tried downloading it again only to realize for some reason I can't access the limewire website! The page only loads halfway and stays white...I've tried waiting it out to see if the limewire website would ever actually load but it doesn't...the loading bar just stops halfway. Meanwhile obviously every other website I go to loads in a second. So I downloaded limewire from a freeware site but the same thing happened...limewire still freezes on opening it. What is going on?? I'm using Vista by the way. Please help this is soo frustrating...

As far as the LW site goes, check your security software. If you are using PeerGuardian for example, turn off the URL/site blocker. Might be another security software you are using that's causing it. Could also try clearing browser cache. I hope you're not using internet explorer.
