Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Double check this test page, are you sure you cannot reach it? At top left of screen should receive message if can reach it. This is what you should see.

One thing i can think of with that model Linksys (which is known to have UPnP problems) is to port forward the device for that particular computer & user account. You would first need to set up a static ip address before you created a port clearance for LW for that specific computer. Setting up Static ip address for Windows 7.

2. Go here & find your model under Linksys PortForward.com - Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model Click on that model number, click the skip advertisement link top right of page, then find LimeWire on the following page.

3. Set up a port or port range as suggested.

4. In LW, set it up for port forward using the same port numbers: Manual port forward instructions & sample image (includes instructions for LW 5.)
