 REQUERY SENT- Is this an attack on Limewire This appears to be some kind of "denial of Service" attack going on. For at least the last 3 days, you'll find that all of the ' "REQUERY" D/L s listed (at least all I've written down), appear to be coming from various but SIMILAR DNS? numbers....in effect through one server: EXODUS.NET these include: 64.14.40.166 , 169, 165, 172 etc etc also 64.15.245.14 and others 216.35.73.145 etc etc The whole series are 64.14.0.0 - 64.14.255.255 Look and see if these are the DL's youve checked ( that dont work) I dont know if Limewire folks are aware of this. On their website, Morpheus also says they're under attack too.  |
