I seem to have no problems downloading programs, but when I go to look for them they are saved as folders w/out any contents, therefore I click launch and nothing happens. I am running on OS 9.1 and have LW 3.0.1. Is it a problem w/ LW, or where the dowloads are directed? Thankyou...

When I go to the directory it's saved in, there is nothing in the folder. Program Folders are being saved to my System Folder/Preferences/.temp folder, and from there I can't do anything, because it is like I downloaded an empty folder. What have happened to the contents? Should I redirect the save folder (which seems to have created itself)? Is it possible there is an invisible folder w/ the application installer etc somewhere? Also, what is the launch button in LW for then? Thanks again, pam

The launch button only works for music, I believe. Yes, it's possible there's an invisible folder, and yes, I would try to change your save directory to something else. If you search, OS 9 will display invisbile files/folders, so search for the file you downloaded.
