 I see. Well, im using 4.0.7. But I don't think its just cause the hosts are bombarded. I thought that was the case, but the slow downloads are evident in almost everyone of my downloads. For some reason, i suspect that the internet I am hooked up to in my apartment complex is LAN based, and the admins could have some kind of restriction. Similar to how I had to forward my port on my wireless router at home, I was wondering if there is such a thing for my internet here. I am still experiencing slow downloads from sources of 100+. This is truly mind boggling. :-P Thank you all for your help though. I'm still searching the forums.  |
