| I am ADSL. I can download no more than 26 kilobyte and upload no more than 7 kilobyte at maximum. In Limewire I am given the option to upload infinitely or at minimum 10 kb/s This means that there is no difference between infinite bandwidth upload or 10 kb/s all I can upload is 7 kb. The problem is, the moment I start uploading to a user my downloading drops dramitically. WHY? Because in order to download properly from a client Limewire has to send a request packet first, and then start downloading. So each time there must be a request packet sent before downloading, if that request is delayed the downloading will be delayed as well. That's why I wanted to set my upload limit to 6 kb/second instead of 7, so as to leave a 1 kb/s space for Limewire to request data retrieval. But I don't have the choice in Limewire, any solutions? |
