![]() Please, can someone tell me how to reduce the number of upload slots available. I have just upgraded to limewire pro and an on broadband - 1gb. I have amd athlon chip, 750mb of ram and am running windows xp. while I was on dial up, no-one tried to upload from me, but tonight since switching the computer on , there have been 20 uploaders plus a queue of 10. My computer really has gone slow, I cannot do much myself online - I have been trying to access my usual forums and play games. It has taken me over 20 mins to register here and start reading posts about uploading. I am happy to share, but not at this rate!! On my tools/options/upload page there is no basic item or an upload bandwidth to alter. Grateful for any help as I cannot find the info in the user guide. JoyB |
