I am starting to suspect that the newer versions of limewire are not as good at picking the fastest available host, and seems to stick more with those it found initially. I have noticed since moving to the 4.10.## series I often get maximum number of hosts with quit low aggregate download speeds. It was rare to not get my maximum available download speed with older versions (only 50k in my case) when there were a bunch of hosts listed. |
