How can you tell if it's with or without the plus?

Another thing you can try is adding a Port for LimeWire in the windows Firewall. Open the firewall from the control panel then click on exceptions then add port. Add LimeWire and the port you want to use.

well I got the brick wall removed in LW so it is just the globe, but I can still only download at 0 to 1KB with a Turbo charged connection.

I'm so darn confused

I double checked my firewall & it is not blocking it. I upgraded the firmware on my router, but it's still slow.

I did notice one thing with my dsl modem. When my computer is off, the act & enet lights blink back & forth. Also on my router the WLAN & Status light are always blinking even when the computer is off. I even tried to remove the router & just run straight to my modem, but all it said was that a network cable was not connected.

I redid a speed test with LW open & closed & got just about the same at 215kbps DL & 193kbps UL

I tried this, but didn't do any good. Windows firewall is disabled anyways.

The DI-624+ is not available in the US. It was made only for overseas. According to D-links tech support page.

another thing I just noticed is when i download a program my speed is about 30KB, but when trying to use limewire, It's considerably less.

I have tried other p2p sites & have the same problem.

I went back through & reset my whole network & now I can download at speeds that vary from 0KB to 5KB. It's still no where close to where it should be.

It really sounds like your ISP is blocking or shaping P2P networks. Have you contacted them.

Have you tried manually port forwarding? If not, check this out: http://portforward.com/english/route...outerindex.htm

Ok well a big part of my problem is my router took a dump. It was only 2 months old. Anyways I bought a new Ethernet card & D-Link is sending me a replacement router.

So I have a new problem. I have my DSL modem connected directly to my computer for the moment. I can connect to Limewire PRO with a turbo charged connection, but I can't get any search returns. There is no firewall blocking the globe either.

Now on the otherside I'm using another program to download & I have no problems with that & usually average 20 to 26KBs downloads all day long.
