I've been following your post and it's obvious that something in your system is corrupting your files as they download. However, I have never heard of a PC that virtually damaged eveything it downloaded.

Since you have already used other utilities to check your LW downloads and found them to be invalid or non-existant, I'd like to ask, can you use VLC to preview your downloads before they are complete? That way you will know, or have an idea, at what point your files become corrupt, i.e. before or after they are moved from "Incomplete" to "Complete". That should help to narrow down when the fault actually occurs.

The user informed me via PM that his servere AV configuration had corrupted the files before they were even downloaded. As for now the problem seems to be solved.......finally!!
