![]() Since I updated to 4.12.6 I am no longer able to download anything at all. It worked fine right up until I upgraded to the new version. I've seen lots of other threads with people having issues but nothing seems to work that has been suggested... |

![]() Did you try the options here? License requirement (click on link) Otherwise, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) & then follow the above suggestions. ![]() ![]() |

![]() Did the license thing, deleted the preferences folder and still can't DL. I do have a firewall but Im fully connected to the network, and unless something to do with the way LW handles firewals was changed I should be fine there. Before the update I was able to DL fine with default settings. Any more ideas? I'm getting very frustrated =/ |

![]() What do you mean you are unable to download? Do you mean LW is not connected & has red bars, or do you mean you click on a file to download & the file just connects for ages & then goes to need more sources? Some information about your setup would help also: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...91&postcount=2 |

![]() LW is connected and has full green bars, but when I click on a file it says Connected and stays that way for awhile, then says need more sources. Using Win XP, Windows firewall, 512 RAM, a few gigs of space avail, newest LW version, Charter cable, I tried the test and it worked, Im on a wireless Linksys sharing the connection but no other P2P programs in use, LW worked fine before the newest version, yes I have the brick wall icon |

![]() My guess is your choice of files to download. Recognising fake files ie: choose those with just a few sources. Modem users are safe to downld from. This problem happens with highly copyright material ... especially very new material less than a few months old or so ... though it varies. |
