![]() Hey! Sorry to have been a bother, but I seem to have fixed my Limewire downloading problem. As I said before, I uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire twice, using the old version and the new version, but there must have been a corrupted Limewire file left on my computer. This time I wiped my registry (regedit) after uninstalling and installed the new version 4.14.8 fresh, as in a brand new installation. In the past I have always updated by over-writing the old version with the new version, but this time something must have happened which corrupted one of Limewire's files. Unfortunately I can't figure out which file. Although I've never encountered this problem in 3 years as a user, I'm probably going to download each new version and do a clean install each time now, rather than doing an automatic update/overwrite of each version. I can't believe that I waited a month before I decided to take any action. LOL. Talk about LAZY! Thank you for trying to assist! ![]() I'm so happy that I have my Limewire back in operation! ![]() |
