I've been having the very same problem and posted it today. However, I read through the responses to your note and towards the bottom there is a note form BIRDY - I clicked on the link they had put in and followed the directions about the IP addressing, etc. and now it works Great.

Limewire just seems to be very unpredictable all of a sudden with it's searches. Mine is working one minute and cactus the next.
I don't think it's anything we can change with settings...just accept it's no longer what it was....
