You can filter out .wma files if you like... on the whole they're not too trustworthy. This thread has more info: What you should know about WMA Files
And a couple more threads with info about how to use the keyword filter & general tips for finding good files. The info refers to LW but same goes for FW... just ignore any LW 5 info as FW uses LW 4 code Keyword & extension filter words to Add How to find music
If you're still having trouble with search results, check out this thread for tips & further links (again this refers to LW but all LW 4 info is good for FW): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...tml#post322626
Maybe start off by deleting FW's preferences folder... more specific info here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/frostw...tml#post172675
In FW go tools > options > advanced > firewall. There you'll see whether you've got UPnP or manual port forwarding selected. If you're port forwarding, you or someone else would have previously set up a static IP address for your computer & then gone through steps to set up port forwarding within your router's configuration pages Since you're properly connected & not seeing the firewall icon, I'd take a guess that your problem isn't with the router. |
