 Spurious search results I have a slightly older client, like gnutella 0.85 or something, about 0.05 behind the current .. which won't install on my system because of dependencies, etc etc blah blah blah ... Point is, when I search, I OFTEN get horrible floods of irrelevent files, coming from multiple different clients, eg morpheus, gnucleus da da da ... Why? I know that if I search for 'equivalent' or something I get heaps of files someone has labelled in their metainfo as being equivalent to something. Is this what is happening to me now? I am searching for 'kinks everybody happy'. Have some fools labelled some files with meta info like 'everybody'? Why? Please stop! Are newer clients making fuzzy matches, like it matched two words out of three, so that's a 'hit'?! Why?!!! PLEASE STOP!!!! Developers? DO SOMETHING!!! Nos  |
