No problem at all, just pointing something out.

direct connect question

I find that if I want a larger file eg. movie or warez I have to go back to direct connect, I don't like to do this as my HD is only 20 gig, so I can't get into the really good hubs, but at least I seem to get what I'm after. I really hope gnut will get better as I really like the underlying premise of free for all, but untill I see better network stability, and more and larger files that COMPLETE I guess I'm stuck with DC.
How do you get connected using direct connect? I have never used it before and been having problems getting connected for the first time.

Gnucleus

You should check out Gnucleus again. It evolves every month and get better and better.
With morpheus moving to the gnutella network, there is a lot more users now and so much more files available.
Morpheus is based on the gnucleus code by the way which is not innocent.

maybe we should start a new poll this time.
because some programs are not supported anymore like gnotella and xolox. you should think of that

I will think about a new poll!

Best Windows Client

I've been checking out all the clients listed in the poll and I'm real surprised at the results too. I have not checked out Xolox yet, but I will. I've been getting better search results using the new Limewire client (2.3.1) lately, though I'm not sure why. I'm attaching to the same servers as with GNucleus, so I should be getting the same results, right? I have to check my configurations in both apps to see what's different. I like GNucleus, but I just downloaded it today and need to use it more. I'll take a look at Xolox right now....

Have had reliability problems with Morpheus Preview. It keeps erroring out when I try to download. The problem might be that I'm testing it with Windows 2000. Can't wait for them to come out with their production version.

Shouldn't Morpheus be added to this polls since the new client can now access the Gnutella Network? Think someone mentioned this in a previous post...

Xolox

Didn't see that Xolox is discontinued. Anyone know where to download it anyway?
