So you're signing in under different user names right. In that case your prefs will go to different places. Try deleting them whilst LW is closed (make a note of your settings) & are found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire & try again with LW. Give it time to connect. Only allow it to connect after opening not on computer startup.
