Well I too fell for the membership scam at http://www.limewire-downloading.net/ I signed up for the .99 per month, but when I got the email showing what I was charged it was 34.95, and the itemization didn't quite make sense. I'm going to check into this with my credit card company etc. I guess that's what I get for being in a rush, as I was the day I fell for this. Just when you think you're too smart to be scammed you get suckered... oh well, live and learn.

Did anyone who bought the membership thru filesharingcenter.com get their money back? I contacted citibank(this is who it went thru) to dispute, but it is Sunday and I have to wait 2 days for a response. Trying to figure out if I should spend the money to have the online check stopped or hope they give me my money back? Any input would be great.

Can somebody let me use the email address they bought LimeWire Pro with because the email i used had expired so won't work and can't update

It seems to me that a lot of the sites look similar. One thing I've noticed with any scam site is they usually have a 3-step process where you give very personal info that they shouldn't need. On the filesharing ones they usually have a pretty long list of bullets on thier main page.

I did the same thing through the same site. I was routed there through an email I received after visiting the LW website, thanking me for visiting and asking me to join. I also noticed the same day was charged for pro seperately that I never asked for.

Definately try to dispute this charge w/ the credit card company. I too have been scammed in the past, it's not a fun thing. Luckily, you only lost a small amount of money, I lost a lot more. Live and learn. I'm more careful now but it's so easy to be taken. Good luck.
