Unfortunately LW 5 is not compatible with G4's. The computer needs to be an intel. This is due to intel's 64-bit design so it can install Java 1.6 which LW 5 requires & Java 1.6 for OSX was only made for 64-bit computers (thus only intel computers.)

I use LW 4.16 myself & find it a great version.
