| I am using a G4/500 w 9.2.2 and it is performing not good. Maybe shareware, but definitely NOT worth one cent because: 1) downloads often stop without reason this is reported by many users (I have reported it w 2.4.5) and is most noticeable if you let it running for a few days with a few downloads active. 2) there are many people on firewalled machines 192.x.x.x 10.x.x.x which are unreachable. Limewire should exclude these because they are mostly unreachable. 3) resume does not work at all (reported in 2.4.5) resume works like a charm on Windows/NT however I noticed. 4) it corrupts the downloads.dat file (make a backup copy !) 5) lately, CPU is unacceptable. It never crashed though. Clicking resume just didn't do anything at all. I wish some of the developers would listen ... |
