Kuakakukka:

I have Limewire, and it works pretty good for me. What you do is select the songs you want to download onto your MP3 (what kind is it?) and after downloading FROM Limewire, you got to download onto the MP3 website. Let me know how this works out, as it took me quite a while to "master" it...lol

I am d/L on to my computer....Not an MP3 player

Theres a site that I visit recently that is about mp3s. I didn't do anything...just browsing...but after a while I receive an email that is from someone that claims to be working on this site inviting me to check out the mp3s they have....

I thought WTF??? How the heck did they do that??? Then I realise that its better to block this sender. Thank God I now got immune from this.

Is this one the sites that we have on the list? Hope that I have not made a mistake but I'm a rude limey.

Pat-

That will not get you a refund. Apologize and I will promptly refund you.

well it doesn't look like a scam site to me. I suggest you post your reply on p2pforums, and I imagine they will check it out.

hi there,

Just wondering if any one can help. went on to emule.com to download and pay for share software, and by reading the rogue sites list realised this is not an official site. Does anyone have suggestions on what i should do, i'm the sort of person who likes to be above board when it comes to this. Should i report it?

any help will be grateful
thanks mike.

As you have hopefully discovered, the official Emule site is www.emule-project.net

www.emule.com is in no way related to scam sites, e-mule, or anything else related! unless you are actually referring to www.emule.org which is a scam site.

This last site is listed as a scam site, and if you have paid them money the following link may help.

As for actually reporting scam sites, I'm not absolutely sure if there is a body you can usefully report them to.

This thread will also be of interest if you have not seen it.

Does this help?

It is really a minefield out there and I notice that www.emule-project.net has advertisements for scam sites at the top of the page. This sort of thing happens also in these forums and the way the advertising works makes it very dificult to stop.

Also www.emule.org is very similar indeed to the official emule site, and it becomes pretty confusing, to the point that I am not 100% sure what I have said in the first post is accurate:confused:
