I then configured my router for both port forwarding and upnp forwarding the globe disappeared and I got a turbo connection. I then did a search for a large file and started Downloading a file 200 MB file within 2 minutes I had 10 connections and I am currently downloading the file at 150 KB/s 50% done in 7 minutes so LimeWire works fine with Vista how did you do that last part? |
worked for me... |
I just bought a new laptop with Vista on it. I had to use the offline installer on Limewire's site to get it to download, it would get stuck right after the download began normally. My problem is that it will not connect to the network, and my internet quits working as well yet I have all my bars on the wireless connection....What can I do? edit: i'll go back through all the previous posts, I just zipped to the end to post..sorry. |
