I actually had it working great on Vista for about 9 months (with version .12 or whatever) then today it wouldn't connect at all. So, i went to LW site to upgrade version. Now I can't seem to keep a connection in the "connection" tab for more then 16 secs. Very frustrating. Wish i could go back to old version. I've tried every posted solution in these posts and support lists and no change in connection status. I have a few more hunches on where to go next. if anything comes up i'll post. Please do the same.

I did all the steps up to the last one, AppData/Roaming/Limewire and I don't see a Limewire to delete, what now?

I have found it is the milware program that is install on Vista that doesnt allow Lw to connect. I turned it off and installed a new one that works with Lw.I have had no connection issues from that day on

Ok. A ton of people with many types of PC’s are experiencing this same problem, which leads me to believe that this is a Limewire problem. I’ve read the threads and I’ve tried everything. I just paid money for this and I just want it to work. What’s the deal Limewire?
“Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network.”

8.Limewire 4.14.10 Pro/ Java 1.6.0-oem
9.Feather wifi

12.I’ve had the free version for over a year. Just upgraded.

Once that is done the AppData file will show up click on it then choose Roaming. In the window that shows up right click on the LimeWire file and delete it. ( Attachment #3)
