I've had a go at installing the Java application, and have tried the offline installer method but can't seem to find that. It simply asks me if I want to exit the setup. That'll obviously cancel the installation and leave me with a load of temporary files on my computer.

No success with the installation though; it still gets stuck in the same place. I'm beginning to wonder whether it just takes ages. Can't take that long if it's renaming a file (or so it says).

See the one with the tick next to it...That's the JRE 5.11 offline installer...
