![]() I've tried just about everything that everyone has suggested on here, all the Jave uninstalls and re-installs, all the offline installs, all the compatability changes, the "run as administrator" stuff, the correct uninstallations...etc etc etc. My Limewire is STILL stopping at 12%! I have a laptop with Vista on it, and Limewire USED to work on here untill recent. What am I doing wrong and what else is left to try?!?! |

![]() Yeah, I've tried the thing in the second post, I've tried to run as administrator, and I've tried everything I can think of. I'm using Vista Home Premium. Limewire's been working perfectly find, up until today. I tried to download something, and then LimeWire just quit. I then tried to re-open it, and it got stuck at 12%... Can someone help me? |

![]() Okay, I tried it again, and it works... But now, LimeWire opens upon start up, and when I exit, it just keeps popping up. I know there's something about this, and I tried that. I tried to uninstall LimeWire, but it said I needed to close LimeWire to uninstall, but it keeps opening. My uninstall screwed up, as I still have the folders and such, but when I try to click the, it says I can't find them. I tried to download BFU and everything, but before it gets done, it gets "Error '7': Out of Memory." |

![]() Hmmm, not good, you definatley have a worm, but you could very well have something else as well... Could you disable your current Anti-Virus app and download AVG, make sure you update it and run a full system scan and see what it finds... AVG free If it finds a virus, follow the recommended steps that AVG gives you to get rid of it and then try the BFU fix again... If you still have problems go to one of these sites and ask them for advice...
