| Hi all, when I open Limewire it will not connect. My system is as follows: OS: Windows Vista 64 bit Firewall: Norton Internet Security 2007 Ram: 4GB Hard disc space: about 300GB Connection: Broadband Cable Modem: Motorola Router: Netgear WGR614v7 Connecting from house Limewire 4.8.1 Java 6.0_0.2 ISP: Virgin Test: Your Test Worked A laptop is also connected to the router I have previously used Limewire with Windows XP I do not see a brickwall in front of the globe Router is set to UPnp enabled I am in the UK After looking at the posts here I tried changing the port number in Norton Firewall but it made no difference. I have also looked for the Limewire folder in AppData but there is no folder there. Can anyone please help me set up Limewire. I am not very computer literate so step by step would be a great help. If anyone can help me please. Ray-A |

| Hi Wondering Why, Many thanks for your message. I have updated to a later version of Limewire and, touch wood, it seems to be working ok as long as I switch off the Firewall. It is showing a brickwall infron of the globe though. But I don't really use Limewire that often so I think I should be ok now. Thanks Ray-A |
