i have had it i have downloaded a few zip files and every time i try to unzip them they have a worm virse with them. but limewire says more than one person has it normally 4 and up(one had 90) i am running vista, avg virse and pc spyware doctor what can i do please some one help or and computer gets it |

| If you plan to use LimeWire, or any other Peer To Peer application, do not, and I mean do not, download any programs. Or any files that are zip, rar, or any other kind of compreesed format. You have a 99% chance to get malware. If your the lucky 1% the program you downloaded probably won't work. |

| I'm new to limewire and didn't realise this about zip files, thanks (patty80 is right, it is deceiving given the number of users that are sharing them - though I suppose that is part of the strategy) Just to check - I did unzip one that I downloaded and ended up with 3 .exe files. I have since trashed the lot, but I am on a mac so I shouldn't have any problems anyway right? (as they are exe files, plus I didn't attempt to run them) |
