Thank you for your help. I'm downloading Spybot then I'm going to reboot in safe mode and see if it works. If anyone else has an idera I'm still open to them. Thanks for your help.

Ok I downloaded Spybot and ran it with my other AV programs before i shut down in safe mode and low and behold my computer stopped freezing when I accessed my hard-drive. The trojan viruses were still there but I was able to sweep and move my files to my external hard-drive. Now I have reformatted my comp via recovery discs and everything is saved and working fine. Thank you for all your help.

Start your Pc in Safe mode ( switch off then , switch on and keep pressing F8 and then do a scan in Safe mode ) log off and repeat the scan as normal .
