Also delete LW's preferences folder (named LimeWire) when LW's properly closed. The prefs folder is hidden by default, this link has info about showing hidden files & folders, and finding the prefs folder: LimeWire Pref Folder in Vista

Thanks alot birdy for directing me to that advice, i did the easiest things, remove the anything java related, installed the new java again with the link and then downloaded limewire with the link provided. Everything is working as normal now, sound!!
