| I have heard of this problem several times, but I am not sure of a solution. Some others have had success doing one or more of the following things: - Allocating about 40 MBs of RAM to LimeWire. On a mac, I am not sure how to do this. -Not performing broad searches. i.e. searching for "an mp3" in the search field will grab too many results and will clog the network quickly if several users do this. Too many results pouring in seems to upset the Mac. -Not performing simultaneous searches. Anyone out there running Mac OS 9 that can help Starren out? |
