Go to NorbiesWorld (click on link) & register & follow his directions carefully.

After solving the issues via Norbie. Reinstall LW. Chances are LW may have been corrupted. Also try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page) before reinstalling. But note any important settings because once you delete the LW prefs folder you'll need to reset all your options.

papa_smurf,

Did you try the fix here...
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...269#post231269
...it's worked for a lot of people.

I think Norbie's been really busy lately, things are a bit hit & miss over there reply-wise.

Guess you missed this part then? It's the middle part of the link Birdy provided

Alcra PLUS Remover is alcanshorty.bfu

Then,
>Download Alcra PLUS Remover at this link
>Right click link underneith and select "save target as" Save it in the same folder you made earlier "(c:\BFU)".

Exclamation Spyware attacking?

Maybe, just maybe, you have a rootkit, there's a free rootkit deletion tool called blacklight, from F-Secure, download it and scan, maybe that should do the trick..., and besides, you wiil not lose anything because it's free of charge.

Dl it from here http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/
