I have encountered a similar problem with not being able to update using my e-mail address. I bought the pro version from the limewire website and paid $18.88. I've updated it in the past, and now it says my e-mail is not valid. Could someone please help me out?

have you tried using the link on your confirmaton e-mail. This might help. personally ..I just go to the site and type in my E-address which is what you have done I imagine.

However if you paid over 6 months ago you will not be recognised

Why will it not recognize me if I paid over 6 months ago? The program is supposed to be $18.88 forever I thought, or is there somewhere in the fine print that says its $18.88 for a 6 month contract?

This from

https://www.limewire.com/sales/engli...ms/buypro.html

LimeWire PRO with free updates and technical support for up to six months.
(Mac OS 9 users will receive updates for OS X, not OS 9)

I know if you read every word on the site you MIGHT find a statement that, taken out of context, might lead you to believe otherwise. Hopefully the webmaster has removed it and as you can see above ... those are the terms for pro on the order form.

And there is a "slight problem with the database" again so the forums are missbehaving .... only the first time in 2 days so things are getting better.
