LOTR All is now clear! It has never even ocurred to me to delete files from there, but now you have pointed it out, I will probably delete my entire share tomorrow. In the good old days, including 4.8.1 which I am currently giving an airing to, just to see if it is really better than the recent models, and I can't see any difference, it is possible to go to the File option and not only disconnect but alter shared files and delete them. And that was actually what I was talking about. and as I recall there is no warning when deleting from the file menu, and I'm not about to check it to find out

Yes I complained about this too, and a change was promised, and delivered, but only, I at last realise, for the file menu, not the bottom buttons. And I imagine if someone is using the Limewire player, it is VERY easy still to make a mistake, and I may have this wrong, but people might think they are deleting a song from their playlist rather than from life as we know it..... I'm not sure, as I have the player dissabled, but it sounds like another good reason to not use the Limewire player
