Opening Limewire

Okay, I have a huge problem. I have recently downloaded Basic limewire and I have installed it and everything.

But when I go to open it... It doesn't open. The mouse turns into a timer and then goes back to the regular mouse pointer.

Limewire doesn't open whenever I try and open it. What is going on?
