| Re slowing down your computer: Disable ultrapeer capabilities (tools > options > speed. Apply) Reduce your upload & download bandwidth a little. The sudden drop in download speeds usually points to an institution or ISP blocking p2p or using traffic shaping. Are you sure that your company hasn't decided to block p2p apps? Try deleting the preferences folder (with LW closed) Fixes for LimeWire |
