 My first guess would be that it is connected to your graphic card, since you've ruled out the Java issue (installed the JRE version using the offline installer??) as well as the preference folder ( .limewire ). Though that wouldn't explain why FW works fine i this regard, as they are pretty much the same from their structure.... So, what graphic card do you use??
