Hi, I have been having major trouble using Limewire and other Java-based apps. Almost all Java apps, including Limewire, tend to freeze and crash my PC. Is this a problem within Java itself, or might it be a problem with Limewire causing Java to crash which causes my PC to crash?

Have you tried un installing and re installing it using the offline installer. It may be a bad Java install. It could also be another program you have running on your computer has a conflict with Java. It may also be you are running low on memory most java apps use allot of memory.

It could be any number of things.

JAVA applications use allot of CPU power. If your PC isnt up to the job, upgrade, or close allot of programs.......I dont recommend using a antivirus like Norton as its a system hog.
