 Uninstall your current version of Java. Now reinstall JRE using the offline installer http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp When that's done, reinstall LW using the offline installer (when you install, LW will automatically uninstall the previous version) http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml See how that goes   |

| Oh no... Bad news, very very bad... I uninstalled Java like you said. But there were two Javas. One of them was JRE, the other was Java 2... I deleted both of them. Wish probably wasn't such a good idea in the end. Well anyway, I installed Java and Limewire again... and the same problem is still going on. To make things worse, JAVA ITSELF isn't working (I can't open the console!!) The worst part is that it displays the same error message that I got when I tried running Limewire!!!! is there anyway to re-do my uninstalling of "Java 2", which I have a feeling that I shouldn'tve? Or am I totally screwed? |
