Hey, I've been using Limewire BASIC for over a year now. I've never had a problem with it before. But now it's doing just as your computer is. It always starts on it's own. EVEN WHEN IT'S CURRENTLY ON!!! I don't know why. I'm posting this so others will know it's not some random wierd virus. I'm going to try to contact limewire and see what I can do. If I learn something that will help. I'll let you know

ok Mariia,

I've found an intellegent answer. A guy had this same problem last june apparently. Must be something floating around the downloads on limewire. anyway. These instructions are quite complicated.(at least to me it seems) take them step by step and this should work

**Remember, read the first TWO pages of this thread before you start. There are a few tips on the second page you'll need if you use Windows XP.**
