im new to limewire

HI from melbourne australia. Basically l have a couple of questions to ask about limewire. Firstly l want to ask im pretty new to limewire, and this whole file sharing thing, but l wanted to ask (and l don't know if l have the right section, yet im hoping for an answer) that im seriously considering paying for limewire pro, but l just want to be clear l think its $18.98, but is that just a one off payment, or do you have to keep on paying, because if its a one off payment it sounds pretty allright to me, but if you have to keep paying all the time, l most likely won't be interested. l'd just like some clarification on this, and how much in australian dollars would that work out to be.

My second question is that some of my friends have been using limewire and to be honest l have no idea if they payed for it or not but they've told me that they've downloaded some games, or movies, or movie clips, and it doesn't play when they press launch/play. Now to be honest l don't know if they've payed for their limewire or not, l dont see them that often anyway, but if l were to pay for limewire pro as l mentioned above, would l be safe from expeiencing problems in downloading and playing or setting up limewire.
And also it sais on the limewire website that it has NO BUNDLED SOFTWARE, does that mean that you won't encounter problems downloading and playing, or setting up the files that you have downloaded, im guessing that means everything will run smoothly. So basically to sum it up if l pay (hopefully its a one off payment) for limewire l should get good results).

My final question is im aware some people use file sharing programs without paying for them, but im just wondering if you guys know any totally FREE FILE SHARING PROGRAMS, l mean the only other one is bit torrent, in which l wanted to ask how does limewire compare to bit torrent in your view, is it just different, better, etc.

i'd be very grateful for a detailed answer to my queries.
