That seem to be an error with Quick Time player and .mov files. This site suggests that it has something to do with the length of the file name. Something that is specific to QT Player: http://www.nomoa.com/?module=article...w&catid=8%2B11.
Try using a different media player. VLC Media Player is highly recommended and will play .mov files.
Mov files aren't generally recommended as they are mostly spam/porn and are best avoided. This thread has some more info: mov files .
I stick to avi, mpeg/mpg for video. Check video files with Bitzi Web Lookup before downloading to see if anyone has rated it. If it's not rated thats a pretty good indication that it's not a good file.
